Year 6 teacher required for a primary school based in Westminster

A star teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Westminster for a year 6 teacher to start after Easter. This is a short term role until the end of the academic year.

All applicants must have a minimum of a years' experience working in a UK school, experience of working in KS2 is highly desirable.

The school is accepting applications from newly qualified, overseas and QTS teachers. However as the role is scheduled to start soon all applicants must have be available immediately or have a short term notice.

This role is ideal for anyone who is seeking experience of working in the upper end of the primary school.

The candidate must have prior knowledge of preparing challenging yet engaging lessons on a daily basis and be able to take part in after school revision clubs.

The class you will be teaching consists of 24 year 6 children who are all preparing for their end of year exams. There is a full time teaching assistant appointed to the class as the school realises this is a hectic time for you to join the school.

The school is offering very attractive daily rates.

The staff and SLT are all experienced teachers having worked in both primary and secondary schools throughout the UK. The curriculum is extremely rich consisting of English Maths and Science as well as Creative Arts such as Drama, music and Cooking.

The school is located a short walk from 2 central train stations.

All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one ASAP. Applicants must also have a document proving right to work in the UK.
