A Primary school based in Brent are looking for a year 6 teacher to join their excellent KS2 team from September. This is an on going role until July 2018 therefore ALL applicants MUST be able to commit to this role in its entirety.

This role is for a year 6 teacher with leadership responsibilities and is an ideal opportunity for a QTS holder with excellent experience of teaching KS2 for a minimum of two years.

The successful candidate will be someone who is seeking to develop their career further, enhancing their leadership skills for a future SLT role.

The leadership responsibilities include:
*Overseeing maths within KS2
*Partaking in a weekly team meeting after school
*Weekly PPA time

The candidate will need to be familiar with the national curriculum and previous SATS experience is highly desirable.

The school has a rich curriculum with a strong emphasis on the creative arts, offering art, music, singing, dance and a range of other creative lessons throughout the year. The school is also well resourced with a large library, both music and art rooms and a beautiful outdoor space with a pond. You will be part of a calm and creative school where a diverse curriculum is both encouraged and celebrated.
