A star teachers are working on behalf of a Berkshire primary school to recruit a long term KS2 teacher.
This role is scheduled to be on a 6 month basis, however depending on the needs of the school this may be extended.
You will be working in a dynamic mixed school in a class of 18 children. There is a permanent teaching assistant who works with the class 3 days a week.
The school consists of a strong management team and a warm and inviting culture.
All applicants must have a minimum of two years experience of working in a similar role. They will be familiar with the national curriculum and have experience of working with a class leading up to to end of year exams. They must have experience in planning motivating and engaging lessons and have excellent time management skills. This role will be hectic to start of with and the applicant must be able to work well under pressure. The successful applicant will need to be willing to invest their time and efforts in revision classes both organising and teaching.
The candidate will need to have valid passport or in the case it has expired will need to reapply before July as they will be required to travel abroad with the year 5 and 6 classes for an annual end of year trip.
They will be accompanied by 5 other teachers as well as some teaching assistants.
All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to undertake one ASAP.
