Job Description

A Star teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Barking and Dagenham for an experienced year 5 teacher.

This role is scheduled to start in September and is a long term contract till the end of academic year (July 2018).

For this role only QTS and overseas fully qualified teachers are being considered.

This school is a mixed catholic primary school located in the borough of Barking and Dagenham. Although it is a catholic school there children and teachers are from all different background. This kind of diversity is heavily encouraged within the school.

The class you are required to teach is a year 5 class of 22 children with mixed abilities. The school has an on site car park and is located a short bus ride from a local train station.

The school has received 'good' in its last OfSted report.

The staff are all committed, supportive and welcoming to new staff members. You will be entering a very warm and professional environment where your achievements are just as important as the achievements of the children.
The curriculum is rich with creative arts being a permanent part of the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in gaining experience within a primary school.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of a year's experience teaching a UK school. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the national curriculum. You will need to have good time management, a good work ethic and the ability to organise creative, motivating and engaging lessons for the children on a daily basis.
