Job Description

A large primary school based in North London is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher.

The role is scheduled to start from September or sooner therefore all applicants must be available immediately or be on a short term notice. Although the school would like a QTS holder newly qualified teachers with strong academic backgrounds are also being considered.

The school located in Haringey is within walking distance from a main train station and also has on site car parking for all staff members.

The school is offering a very generous daily rate.

All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one ASAP. You must also be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK

To be considered for this position, the successful teacher must have:

- a UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/B.Ed/GTP) with QTS
- recent experience as a Year 4 class teacher
- a minimum of a years teaching within Key Stage 2
- thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
- excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- strong classroom management skills
- experience working with EAL pupils (desirable)
- experience of previous OFSTED inspections (desirable)
