Job Description

A small Roman Catholic primary school based in Wandsworth is currently recruiting for a permanent year 2 teacher to start from September 2017.

This role is scheduled to start from the first week of September on a permanent basis. Although this is a Roman Catholic school teachers from all backgrounds and faiths are encouraged to apply. At this stage the school is only reviewing applications from QTS holders.

Applicants must be able to commit to the role in its entirety. You must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience within a primary school, experience teaching KS1 is highly desirable. A good knowledge of the nation curriculum is also required.

The primary school is based in Wandsworth and is located at a short waling distant from a main train station. On site car parking is also available.

The school is well known throughout the community and promotes good honest relationships with all parents and guardians. There is a rich curriculum with creative arts being introduced permanently. Outdoor learning during the spring and summer terms is highly encouraged.

The SLT are well known for the support that is offered to all teachers. There will be a permanent TA assigned to the year 2 class to assist you 3 days per week.

The successful applicant will be someone who is both patient and confident. You will need to have good time management skills and the ability to create engaging lessons regularly.

All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one. A valid right to work is also essential. For overseas teacher you will be required to provide proof of a clear overseas police check.
