Job Description

A Primary School in North London are looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their dedicated and hard working team from September.

It is an exciting time to join due to the arrival of a new Headteacher, combined with teachers that have established themselves over the years. The children are extremely polite and calm due to the strict behaviour policy.

The post is likely to be permanent but is being posted as long term initially. The reason for this is that Year 2 is an important year due to SAT's so the school would like someone that is capable to guide them through these.

This will be a challenge so in order to apply you must be creative, driven and encourage the children to reach their full potential.

Candidates must:
* be familiar with the National Curriculum or similar curriculum from overseas
* be seeking long-term, permanent or daily work
* have the right to work in the UK
* have recognised teaching qualifications
* have at least two educational references
* have an overseas police check (if applicable)
* have a current DBS or willingness to undertake one

To be considered for this role please apply directly or forward your CV through to primary@astarteachers.com FAO Zuri Findley.
