Job Description

A star teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Enfield for a KS1 primary teacher to start in June.

This role is maternity cover until till March 2018 and is a full time position working a year 2 class.

All applicants must have a minimum of a years experience working in a UK school.
The school is welcoming applications from Newly qualified teachers, over seas teachers and those with a QTS. As the role is scheduled to start by the June this year all applicants must have a short term notice period.

The school consists of 300 children from all different backgrounds. Diversity is a big part of the schools culture and the school is at the heart of the community. The school actively takes part in bake sales, summer fates and Christmas fates to raise money for the Enfield community and various charities.

The staff and SLT are all experienced primary school teachers who have worked hard to create an atmosphere where the continued development and growth of young minds is at the centre of the learning technique. The curriculum consists of English Maths and Science as well as Creative Arts such as Drama, music and Cooking. There are also a minimum of two school trips in the school year.

The school offers continued opportunities to develop its teachers, if the successful applicant is a newly qualified teacher they will be more than happy to support them in gaining their QTS.

The school is located a short walk from the station.

All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one ASAP. Applicants must also have a document proving right to work in the UK.
