The primary school have a very positive and motivated mind set. This is a long term role starting in September.
All applicants must have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one ASAP. You must also be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK
To be considered for this position, the successful teacher must have:
- a UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/B.Ed/GTP) with QTS
- recent experience as a Year 1 class teacher
- a minimum of 3 years teaching within Key Stage 1
- thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
- excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- strong classroom management skills
- experience working with EAL pupils (desirable)
- experience of previous OFSTED inspections (desirable)
