One of our outstanding client schools based in Ilford is looking to appoint a teacher of Religious studies as soon as possible to start after the Easter break until the end of the academic Year.
The right candidate will be expected to teach RE up to Year 11 with the occasional Lower School History lesson. In this school, each student study RE for one hour a week in Y10 until the end of Y11. In Y10, they will start the GCSE course which will lead to an examination at the end of Y11 called a "Short course GCSE",a nationally recognised qualification worth half a full GCSE. The school was judged outstanding in all categories in its last Ofsted inspection, both within the main school and 6th form. Ofsted were also impressed with the high standards of behaviour across the school.
The school expects the highest standards of teaching and dedication to the job. The role will expect the applicant to be:

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
