Job Description

A Star Teachers is seeking a Payroll/HR/Compliance Administrator to start February 2017. The position will be full time working Monday - Friday between 9am -6pm at our office in the heart of Islington. This a permanent role for the new recruit, as we are expanding our young, friendly and successful team.

Previous experience in recruitment or HR/Payroll would be a bonus, but is not essential. However, you will need to have previous administration experience and excellent attention to detail in addition to being confident using Microsoft office packages including, Word, Excel, Outlook and a working knowledge of SAGE.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills and be a very fast learner due to the fast paced nature of education recruitment.

In return, we will offer you an excellent salary dependant on your previous experience, in a beautiful office based in the Business Design Centre in trendy Islington. Shops, bars and restaurants our on our doorstep, and we are close to excellent transport links.

The role will consist of:

Registering candidates, completing compliance requirements and clearing files promptly
Accurate checking & entry of temp weekly payroll & other payments
Detection & resolution of anomalies
Accurate data entry and production of reports and umbrella pay schedules
Accurate entry of new starter details
Accurate processing of leavers
Data entry of sickness / annual leave
Enforcing the compliance requirements of placing a candidate in to a school
Advertising vacancies and producing job board performance reports
Producing weekly pay schedules for all supply staff
Updating our website and social media pages
Compiling compliance reports for discussion in weekly management meeting
Management of petty cash expenses
Ordering office facilities and logging all IT issues with relevant IT support companies.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills:

Excellent time management
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills both spoken and written
Background knowledge of recruitment
Ability to build good relationships with colleagues and clients
Motivated to take on new challenges
