Job Description

Are you a teacher of English in Mainstream schools looking for a change in their career? Do you have a profound believe in the ability of Teachers to help troubled young people change for the better? Or are you a practitioner with an English specialism already experienced in the field of inclusion? You will potentially act as a Teaching Lead in the subject, and as such must be confident of demonstrating the best possible practice. This job is for three days a week, but if necessary to retain the right applicant the school could offer another 2 days working across other curriculum areas such as ICT.

Our client is a Free School which offers superbly well run provision for excluded youngsters in a West London Borough. The school is has moved to a brand new site in the past two years, and the specific role is for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The school site is both located close to Underground stations and are at most a 15 minute journey from Central London.

Despite the students often not having the best starts to life, the school community holds and expects rigorously high standards from its' learners. Without doubt there are many challenges to be faced, but at the same time the role, which is permanent, offers huge job satisfaction, and teaching staff are very well supported and resourced. Please apply as soon as possible as we are short listing candidates immediately.
