About the role:
A Primary school in Islington seek a Nursery Teacher to join their established team for the new school year in September. The school need a dynamic and vibrant Nursery Teacher with solid experience of teaching the EYFS curriculum and implementing practical strategies for learning to engage, inspire and motivate young children. The Nursery class will be up to 30 children
The ideal Nursery Teacher will be working in a team of three in order to plan and prepare lessons and activities daily and to assess the progress of children.
The ideal Nursery Teacher will have
*Experience of teaching the EYFS curriculum
*Experience of planning , delivering and managing exciting activities for children of this age group
*The ability To effectively manage other adults
*To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and implement agreed school policies
The school is a federation in partnership with a local school. This allows more room and scope for CPD opportunities and career progression. The school pride itself on its broad and creative curriculum focusing on not only the outcome of written work in books, but also emotional, social and spiritual learning.
The building has been newly renovated and the successful Nursery Teacher will have the opportunity to teach in a large, bright, airy classrooms. The school is well resourced and facilitated allowing teachers the opportunity to deliver quality lessons.
Ofsted report: The last Ofsted was 'Good' and the school are now aiming to achieve 'Outstanding' in their next Ofsted inspection.
