Job Description

Are you an experienced lower KS2 Teacher hoping to kick start a new opportunity?

Can you demonstrate your ability to raise pupil attainment in practice with a proven track record of already doing so?

Does working in a Primary School located in South East London interest you?

If Yes - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable experienced lower KS2 Teacher to join a 'Two Form' entry primary school led by a modern and diverse SLT on a full time, long term - perm basis with good rates of pay to start in January 2018!

(For successful applicants - Interviews will commence at the end of October 2017!)

With your leadership, lesson planning and motivational skills - you will have valuable experience raising academic standards and be confident / willing to work within a multicultural year 2 class which also caters to EAL and SEN pupils. You will play a vital role in ensuring every pupil is happy, safe, well cared for and ensure behaviour is well managed whilst helping pupils progress through their learning and continuous personal development. This school have great resources which help promote a highly supportive curriculum and also offer a warm and welcoming environment!

Required Eligibility Criteria:

*Registration (This will take place at A Star Teachers office & is a standard requirement)
*Have at least 1-2 years' experience of teaching a Year 2 Class (SEN and EAL experience an advantage!)
*Have a proven track record of teaching the National Curriculum or an equivalent curriculum (if from overseas)
*Hold the following qualification: QTS / PGCE and ideally a BA in Education or equivalent
*Be willing to provide at least 2 classroom-based checkable work references in support of your application (ideally teaching / educational related)
*Have the right to work in schools based within the UK (proof must be available - i.e. valid visa)
*Hold a current valid enhanced DBS (ideally on update service) or be willing to apply ASAP!
