One of our client school is looking for a well-qualified, engaging and dynamic teacher to join its successful Computing department. The department has been at the forefront of the drive to include more Computing concepts in the curriculum at all key stages and the client has recently been designated as a Lead School in the Network of Excellence for the Teaching of Computer Science.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner in Computing, who is creative and well organised with a passion for Computing and the ability to teach programming in both visual and textual environments.
Computing at the school is taught at all key stages including A Level and the successful candidate will be required to teach across the full age and ability range. All teaching is undertaken in dedicated computer suites and every department member is issued with an iPad and a laptop to support their teaching and learning activities.
The client school offers a stimulating environment with a supportive induction and professional development programme, recognising that the teachers are the reason for continuing success. The current status as a Teaching School means the school is able to offer staff the highest quality support. The school was judged as being one of the 100 top non-selective schools in the Country in 2013.
