Job Description

A Greenwich school are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join them from September until the end of the academic year.

The school is a large primary school with a good Ofsted report in the last couple years. The environment is welcoming and warm, the staff and management promote a supportive atmosphere for everyone in the school. They will be offering additional QTS support if required.

The successful applicant will need to have a minimum of a years teaching experience within the UK. The school are interviewing both NQTS and QTS for the role. What
they are looking for is someone with the right outlook. The individual will need to be positive and organised, there should be an element of discipline amongst a fun, energetic and creative demeanour.

The applicant will need to have a good knowledge of the national curriculum and be capable in planning innovating and engaging lessons. Ideally the successful applicant will be someone who is looking to build or extend their experience working in a primary school with the goal of making a difference in the childrens development.

To be considered for the role all applicant must have:

*Experience in teaching within primary school education
*Hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or be a newly qualified teacher (NQT)
*Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary teachers
*Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
*Have a valid DBS or the willingness to apply for one- This is essential
