A Star are recruiting for a suitably qualified teacher of Food Technology for our outstanding client school in Ilford. It is equipped with a new Science, Technology and Sixth Form block built for increased intake in 2017/18. Design Technology is a popular subject within the school and is currently delivered at both GCSE and A Level. We are seeking a food specialist to deliver the GCSE Food and Nutrition course however the ability to teach other strands of Design Technology at key stage three would be advantageous.
This post would suit an experienced teacher but applications are equally welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers. A willingness to support extracurricular work within the Design Technology department is essential as is the desire to deliver short practical cooking courses aimed at sixth form students preparing to live away at university. Applications by staff seeking a part-time contract will be considered.
