Job Description

Are you an Irish trained secondary teacher? If so, our secondary team wants to hear from you. We have considerable experience both as teachers and also working in the recruitment industry, but more importantly have assisted many teachers in gaining Qualified Teacher Status here in the U.K.

If you are considering London as a place to teach, then do get in touch with A*Star Teachers. We work with a broad range of client school in the Greater London area.

We offer the very best in terms of daily rates and always look to ensure a smooth transition in all areas of your move to the Capital. We also have strong links with local GAA clubs for those that are interested in playing Gaelic Football or Hurling.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

For more information contact Ken (also from Ireland and ex-teacher) on the secondary desk for more information.

It is A* Star Teachers' policy, as a matter of courtesy, to respond to all applications within three working days. However, due to the volume of applications, we are sometimes unable to respond to each applicant individually. If we have not contacted you within three working days, your application has been unsuccessful and your details have not been retained. Please apply for any other position that you may feel suitable for in the future. A* Star Teachers is a Quality Marked Agency (continuously since 2002) and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
