The national agreement on remodelling the school workforce seeks to restructure the school workforce and is aimed at enabling teachers to focus less on administration and more on teaching.
Support staff will play an increasingly important role under this new agreement. Working as part of a whole school team, they will contribute to raising educational standards in schools.
A* Star Teachers is now recruiting an extensive range of support staff for schools throughout the UK, including:
School Office, Secretarial and Finance Staff
Science, Design/Technology, Art and ICT technicians
Library Assistants
Caretakers and Site Staff
Examination Invigilators
Teaching Assistants
A* Star Teachers School Support Staff Team
Office, secretarial and finance positions will require that you have relevant experience and/or appropriate qualifications. Depending on the position applied for and the requirements made by a school, candidates may also be required to undertake a computer based skills test.
Technical positions will require that you have a relevant degree, A-Levels, vocational qualifications and/or substantial experience in your specialist subject.
