All our teachers have face-to-face interviews where they are professionally profiled. Our overseas teachers have a well qualified, local professional or we send well qualified heads and inspectors overseas to carry out interviews. At interview, we ensure our teachers' expectations are well informed and we provide useful written materials.
This profiling enables our education professionals to more effectively match teachers to posts, for all specialisms, key stages, locations and types of work.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the Four Year Rule
Overseas Trained Teachers (OTTs) who enjoy their overseas adventure so much they don't want to go home need to be aware of the four year rule. Australian and New Zealand trained teachers have four years from the day they first start teaching in the UK to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A* Star Teachers have a QTS tutor and assessor who can assist with this process.
In terms of documentation, you'll need nothing extra apart from your high school transcripts (so get into that attic!)

In addition, teachers in our partner schools can benefit from a focused, high quality induction and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
Furthermore, our teachers have a dedicated recruitment consultant to assist with personal support from accommodation to permission to work issues.
