A* Star Teachers began in a house of teachers in London where two bedrooms became the offices for the company.
Those of you who know us will remember!
The idea was that teachers knew best how to help teachers.
These days, A* Star not only helps teachers find a job they love, but also assists in gaining Qualified Teacher Status and runs comprehensive Professional Development sessions for its teachers.
Although the company started by supporting teachers, it now also works with Teaching Assistants, Exam Invigilators, Cover Supervisors and Headteachers.
